View sunspots, prominences and solar flares
on our star, the Sun, with detail shown
only when the view is limited to the light of
Hydrogen-alpha (H-α) at 656.28 nm (6562.8 Ångstroms)
provided by specially equipped solar telescopes.

.Our amateur radio astronomers will be searching for celestial radio signals. Mercury, Venus and Jupiter are all well placed for daytime viewing (with a little luck).

Jet Stream (updates automatically to latest available image)
    The Jet Stream affects astronomical "seeing" (steadiness of the air)
    If we're in a gray area, seeing will not be as good as in a white area.
    If we're in a white area, the shorter the arrows, the better.
